Meet the Oxygen Team
Owner - Pilates Instructor
Lori-Ann McLeod is the founder of Oxygen Yoga & Pilates. Lori-Ann received her certification from Body Harmonics (Toronto, Ont.,Can.) in 2009. She launched Oxygen by conducting classes in friends’ homes and through word of mouth, it has quickly grown.
Based in the growing town of Milton, Ontario, where she resides with her husband and two active children, Lori-Ann created Oxygenout of a recognition of the unique and contemporary fitness needs of busy people with careers and/or children. As someone who has long enjoyed physical fitness and all the benefits it has brought to her life, Lori-Ann wanted to create something where she could share what she’s learned and help bring these same benefits to all people of every age, gender and physical ability . Her core interest is “Total Body Harmony” which she synergizes as physical strength, wellness, self-esteem and nutrition. Lori-Ann believes Pilates is fundamental to this philosophy.
The Pilates Method refers to a series of conditioning exercises that combine stretching, elongating, strengthening and breathing.Pilates is all about toning and elongating muscles and its exercises are a fantastic way to tone and shape one’s body without adding bulk. Pilates is a great form of exercise for all body types and all fitness levels. For these reasons Pilates is an ideal fitness program for all people, from the new mom who wants her pre pregnancy body back to the senior citizen who wants to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. Though Lori-Ann’s classes are generally attended by women, it’s no secret that men can equally benefit from a fitness regiment that includes Pilates. In fact, after seeing the positive effect the classes have had on their significant others many men have recently expressed an interest in incorporating Pilates into their life. As a result, in her continued efforts to broaden her reach, Lori-Ann has plans for Oxygen Yoga & Pilates to offer its first program of all male classes in the very near future.

Nathalie, a former long distance runner was introduced to yoga 7 years ago and has since fallen in love with the challenge and personal truth she finds in her yoga practice. She looks forward to supporting and guiding her students through the same process of connecting to their soul and finding and living their personal truths. Nathalie’s classes are slowly to moderately paced. Everyone will be challenged in a safe and nurturing environment. Yoga Instructor
Having grown up in the world of competitive gymnastics, Sarah always found great pleasure in expressing herself through movement. It wasn't until she first began practicing yoga that Sarah was able to fully connect with her inner self and start her journey down the road of physical and mental enlightenment. In addition, she has found the yoga asanas (postures) to be helpful in managing through years of ongoing pain and tension in her neck and back muscles.
Sarah instantly fell in love with the positive effects that yoga had on the mind, body and spirt and knew that it would become a big part of her life. Yoga has brought more clarity into her world and has taught her to be much more grateful for the things we might often take for granted.
Sarah obtained her 200-hour yoga certification (RYT200) through 5 Elements Yoga and Pilates. She has had the opportunity to attend workshops with Rodney and Colleen Yee, Yasmin Gow and Cyndi Lee. Sarah has also completed her pre and post natal training at 5 Elements with Michelle Cormack. As she continues her journey on this lifelong commitment, Sarah hopes to share this transformational gift that has reshaped her life with all of her students.
